Remember when people would say “You hit like a girl” or “You run like a girl?” It’s hard to believe women weren’t allowed to play sports once upon a time. These amazing female athletes kick so much ass in their sports, they’d put most men to shame.

UFC Champ Ronda Rousey

The first female MMA fighter to get signed to UFC is explosive, talented and absolutely terrifying in the octagon (even though she’s all smiles out of it). The Southern California native has a 10-0-0 record and could break your arm before you could call for help. She’s so cool, she’s appearing alongside some of the greatest action stars ever in The Expendables 3. You know you’re tough when Rocky/Rambo says you are!

Crossfit 2014 Champion Camille Le-Blanc Bazinet

This year’s Reebok CrossFit Games winner is touted as being the fittest woman in the world. The Canadian athlete is so fit, just watching Bazinet do a WOD (workout of the day) is exhausting and painful. She’s also 5’2 and can dead lift 300 pounds, so there’s that. It’s damn-near mind-blowing that someone so small can lift so much. Well, small in height. Bazinet is buff.

Ultra-Marathon Crusher Ann Trason

Ann Trason earned quite the reputation after appearing in 2009′s bestselling book Born to Run.  But she’d already been well-known in runner’s circles. The ultra-marathoner has won the women’s division of the Western States 100-mile Endurance Run 10 times. But wait, there’s more. Eight of those times, she also had the best overall time. That’s right. A man only beat her twice!

Nascar Driver Danica Patrick

She’s fast and seriously bad-ass. She’s the only woman with an Indy-Series race title. (She won the Japan 300 in 2008.) It’s no surprise Nascar’s wonder woman is one of the highest paid female athletes with an elite $13 million salary.
