Pricey Appearance Fees
Some times living The Life Elite means hanging out with other elites—even if that means opening up a checkbook! Here are sizable appearance fees to wrap your head around. After all, who wouldn’t want a private concert at their next dinner party?
If you’re interested in booking Usher for your Sweet 16 or Wedding, it’s going to cost you $1 million for an hour. (We bet that magician is looking super tempting now, right?) If you pay that price, you’ve got it bad.
Who isn’t a Mariah fan? Seriously. It shouldn’t be a surprise that she once performed four songs at a private event for $1 million. That comes out to a whopping $250,000 per song. Most of her songs, especially the older ones, are arguably worth the price tag.
Here’s another Voice judge making big bucks even when they’re not touring or filming episodes. This genie in a bottle made a cool million to appear at an hour-long party. Wanna get dirty in debt?
It’s a good thing you have a poker face. You’re going to need it to win back your money from Gaga in a quick round of cards. A Gaga appearance costs $2 million.
Beyonce has reached historical proportions. This woman is unstoppable. Honestly, it’s no surprise a private performance costs $2 million. We’re surprised an appearance from Bey wouldn’t cost more!
Reality Show to Riches
We’ve saved two artists for a special blurb: Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. While a private performance from either of these ladies “only” runs between $250,000 and $400,000 (affordable only in comparison to the aforementioned), the fees are extra special considering they both found their way to stardom via American Idol. Who knew that auditioning for a reality show could lead to a legitimate music career? Of course, they are special cases. Most contestants (even winners) do not reach this level of celebrity. These gals have talent for days and major hits to back them up.
